Come on Baby, Light

Come On Baby, Light My Fire: “Light My Fire, a new exhibition at the Art Gallery of Ontario points a portrait lens on the gallery’s treasured collection of over 40,000 photographs. Alina Kulesh visits the exhibit and reports on the creative storytelling capacity of portrait photography.”

Checked out Art Gallery of Ontario’s new, massive photography exhibit — Light My Fire — for The Genteel, and wrote about it here.

The exhibit captures portrait photography’s abundant and creative possibilities. Most importantly,  it reminded me of — and even restored my faith in — the magical property of photography, presented and experienced in a physical form and space, instead of digital. Refreshing.

There are several gems featured in this exhibit, find out about them here, and go check it out for yourself (if you can)!
